44. The Developing Project of Quartz Glass Torch Tubes for High Precision Equipments

1.    Background and Significance of the Project

The quartz glass torch tubes for high precision equipments has qualities like high purity (99.995% of silicon dioxide), high precision, low tolerance of dimension, additionally it has good performance in heat-resistance, low swelling coefficient, astigmatic, chemistry stability and isolation. And ultraviolet radiation and infrared ray can permeate it. As a result, it is wildly used in high precision equipments.

In order to fill in the gap, reduce the producing cost, improve the technology, accelerate the competition, and flourish the domestic quartz glass industry, we carry out the research on this product. This project can drive and flourish the silicon industry, and accelerate the competition of   domestic products in the international markets.

2.    Market Analysis

Quartz glass torch tubes for high precision equipments, are wildly used in semiconductor, lightconductive communication industries and the technology of country security fields. Thus it has a broad market future. It is forecasted that quartz glass torch tubes for high precision equipments needed in China will above 60 ton.

3.    Investment Assessment of the Project, Scope and Duration of the Construction

Total investment is 12 million yuan, including 9 million yuan for fixed asset, and 3 million yuan for circulating fond.

Duration of the construction is 1 year, after which a producing capability of 50 ton quartz glass torch tubes for high precision equipments will be achieved.

4. Analysis of the Profit         

It is forecasted that the sails revenue per year is 22 million yuan with a

interest and tax of 7.08 million yuan.

5.Means of Cooperation

The project can be completed by means of joint venture, cooperation of Chinese and foreign enterprise as well as foreign investment only.
