glass has the quality of permeating lights with different length of wave,
heat-resistant, low expanding, good heatlibration-resistant, chemical
stabilization and excellent isolation, it is used broadly in
semiconductoer and electronic technology, optic conductory communication
laser technology, optic equipments, scientific experiments, aviation and
space flight, satellites, chemistry, electrician and metallurgy. The
research of this project has very significant influence to the development
of Donghai silicon material industry.

At
present, the domestic demand is about over 5 million ton, while large
amount of high quality and high quality quartz glass materials for special
purposes mainly depend on import. So, the market future is very broad.

construction.
The
total investment is 12.08 million yuan, including 9.08 million yuan
investment for fixed assets and 3 million yuan circulating fond.
The
duration of the construction is 1 year, after which the producing
capability of 100 ton quartz glass per year can be reached.
