17. The Project of Gold Haloid Light Filtering Ultraviolet Radiation with the Function of Environment Protection and Saving Energy

1. Background and Significance of the Project

In resent years, with the fast development of the economic society, the wastage of energy is rising constantly, especially in countries with a fast increasing economy, where the phenomena of lack of electricity appear continually. The energy consumed by light can account for 15% -20% of the total electricity consumption, and increase by 15% every year. Therefore, the measure of saving energy for the photic production plays an important role in the photic industry. It is bound to protect environment and save energy in the development of photic productions. The concomitant problem of environment pollution can also bring human a huge threat. Furthermore, the broken ozonosphere plays a decreasing role in screening people from radiant ultraviolet radiation. Besides, in current life, a variety of ordinary lighting can produce a great deal of ultraviolet radiation, which has led to the increasing incidence of disease of skin. These have aroused people’s attention and caused the deep reform in electrooptics industry. The requirement for electrooptics productions filtering ultraviolet radiation appeared in the international market and increased fast. To adapt to such requirement in international market, an enterprise of electrooptics production should closely follow the market demand, actively use new materials, and achieve the transformation from ordinary electrooptics productions to electroophtics production with functions of environment protection and saving energy.

2. Market Analysis

According to the statistics of national lighting association in 2002, at present, the demand for the series of haloid light, gas discharging light, high strength discharging light can reach 6,000,000,000, and increase by 15% every year. With the increasing awareness of environment protection and saving energy, the lighting production with functions of environment protection will quickly replace the ordinary lighting production, which is also the absolute trend for the development of the social science. Therefore, this project has a huge potential market.

3. Assessment of Project Investments, Scale and Period of Project Constructions

The total investment of the project reaches 12,000,000 yuan, mainly applied to the workshop constructions, equipment purchase and technology research and development.

The period of project constructions will last 18 months. The production scale can reach 50,000,000 roboticized product lines for gold haloid light of environment protection and saving energy per year after the completion of the project.

4. Analysis of Economic Benefits

The estimated production value of the project can reach 78,000,000 yuan per year, and its profit tax can reach 24,000,000 yuan per year.
